Alexis Goldstein, L.Ac.

Seeking a wide variety of experience, Alexis has had the opportunity to treat patients in such diverse places as the hematology/oncology ward of Rady Children’s Hospital as part of the department of Integrative Medicine, UCSD’s Pacific Beach Free Clinic Program to treat the underserved, the annual Vietnam Veteran’s Stand Down for homeless veterans, UCSD’s Downtown Free Clinic Program for the geriatric community, and UCSD’s RIMAC athletic training facility. Additionally, she spent two years apprenticing with well-known orthopedic acupuncturist, Matt Callison at his clinic learning sports medicine and injury rehabilitation protocols.
In conjunction with acupuncture, Alexis has studied Asian bodywork for several years and is a certified massage therapist by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).For Alexis, acupuncture isn’t just about needles; she often includes bodywork and therapeutic exercise as part of her treatment.
In addition to acupuncture, Alexis also enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking and exploring all that the Pacific North West’s outdoors have to offer.
